It's a great sensory integration tool... although it would be REALLY expensive to cook up enough to enjoy the heavy work aspects!

http://www.livingwiththreeboys.com/2010/12/tot-school-tuesday-christmas.htmlChasing Pure Simplicityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18313295716396791206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7572070976923021388.post-75609102841904446132010-12-09T22:42:33.616-08:002010-12-09T22:42:33.616-08:00HI, new to this whole blogging world, but the past...HI, new to this whole blogging world, but the past few days, it has kept me sane. I would love to contribute to your SPD blog group. Please let me know how I can do that. I have a two and half year old with SPD. On another note, we live in Hawaii now, and have NO snow, but plenty of other opportunities for hard work with the water!Alliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01682516556951203855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7572070976923021388.post-41985913122965014572010-12-09T09:19:26.880-08:002010-12-09T09:19:26.880-08:00These are great! But, I'm thinking if I try some of your ideas (I think my kids would especially like the snow painting with squirt bottles!) they play a bit more. Thanks for the great ideas. When it finally snows, I'll let you know how the activities go with the kids.Patty O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15598358666714482323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7572070976923021388.post-35897992649116953562010-12-08T15:43:32.717-08:002010-12-08T15:43:32.717-08:00I have three kids, two with FASD/ADHD and one with...I have three kids, two with FASD/ADHD and one with just ADHD (jennsbusyhouse.blogspot.com). I also view snow as a blessing! As a fellow Canuck (I'm in Muskoka), I totally agree with the natural consequences of kids getting cold to teach them that they need to wear their hats and mitts! It's far more effective than a nagging parent...lol Enjoy!Jennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06385323684951317926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7572070976923021388.post-60823676557887539362010-12-08T06:51:59.998-08:002010-12-08T06:51:59.998-08:00I hate snow so I'll remember this and try to s...I hate snow so I'll remember this and try to see it as a positive thing! Of course it rarely snows here but when it does happen I'll remember the tips you offered.Fieldshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14975476359462219455noreply@blogger.com
